From Girl to Men

From Girl to Men is Asha’s debut EP release in 2021. It moves between softly-sung ukulele numbers, lo-fi hiphop, grime and spoken word. Narrating different relationships with men from throughout her life. Asha’s lyrics touch on loneliness, a desire for intimacy, complicated sexual encounters and muddy consent.
Bee Asha won Best Newcomer at the SAMA awards in 2021 with this EP.
